Hey guys,

Not sure exactly what my MPG would be, but the Bravo is fairly drinking the petrol just now.

On average, with a good few motorway/dualler miles, I'd be getting something like 350 miles to a tank. Nice returns. Lately thats dropped considerably, somewhere around the 280 mark just now I reckon. Its' very noticable.

For its last MOT in Feb in had a new lambda fitted. It also had one done with the previous owner for his MOT last year. Just wondering if this might be a pattern forming? Any telltale signs or tests that I can carry out to check the cause?

seems the brava/os like eating lambda sensors :) mine had a new one aswell when it was MOT'ed give it a good service never know maybe itll help new oil, sparks and filters could only be good for it :)

It could be the lambda sensor again. If the engine is not running right then the lambdas can get eaten.

For example, my 145 used to eat them too, in the end i realised it was because of the amount of oil that was being sucked into the throttle from the cam cover breather. Could be a similar story on yours.

I would say hold of untill you/we have done a throttle body clean to see if there is visable signs of oil vapour circulation.

That's cool - thanks for the advice so far guys.

Driving hasn't really changed. I wouldn't say at all, but I drive from Ellon to Peterhead and home. Maybe a tiny bit of stop start (town stylee) driving, but not much!
