Shocks

Been looking around for rear shocks for the 1.2. Seems to be around £50ish delivered.

Anyone know of anywhere that is likely to be considerably lower than that?

I'm considering KYB gas shocks and notice that buypartsby or whatever its called is quite good for KYB.

Not wanting 'sports/uprated' or any junk like that, just want decent reliable, well made rear shocks!

i had the KYB front shocks from them, good delivery great item made such a difference to the way the car went, imo a very good oem replacement

Insy, best place for KYB shocks are buypartsby or shop4parts.

KYB are the best performance per pound shocks out there for a stock ride quality

Going on recommendations (thanks stephen ) I had them delivered from buypartsby yesterday. Having a clutch fitted tomorrow so will fit them when I get her back and will report back!!

And buypartsby offer a very good service, helpful and polite. I had no problems at all which included delivery to Ireland! I'll be using them again!

£48.16 for the 2 delivered i've decided from buypartsby. 2 to 3 working days for delivery so not bad i thought.

Next step is to suss out fitting

fitting is a piece of **** mate! 2 bolts per shock, one top one bottom, undo, remove shock, nesw shock on, do up... simple as!

Well the shocks were delivered today. Fitted them this evening. Good lord its easy! Don't know what people meant about losing the top bolt in the chassis though as mine had a plastic tube that lead from the entry point to the bolt itself.

All in all a very easy job!

I'm now looking forward to seeing if there's any difference tomorrow when I go to work!
