Finally I've managed to build a PC that works properly (y) (y) (y)

Running Windows XP Pro (Essential).

Everything is installed and running well, though my keyboard is set to the "USA" layout (i.e. the '@' symbol is above the number '2', the '#' symbol is above the number '3', the ' " ' symbol is where the '@' should be etc.

I've gone to the 'control panel' and looked in the 'keyboard properties' option but can't find any way of selecting a 'UK' layout? Where do I need to go to change it to UK spec?

Ok, I went into that section but it will only give me US Keyboard options

See pic below for what I get when I try and select keyboard.

is this a lite build? i know some were created by yanks who never realised there were other places outside the states so removed the option.
even if you try and change it on the language bnar in the taskbar.

Cheers for the responses everyone (y)

Liam's 'patch' sorted it out (thanks Liam!). The UK keyboard layout wasn't in the options as standard, but now it is thanks to the patch. Changed the regional settings and all is funky again :)

I can press <shift> and 2 and get - " -, and also <shift> and ' to get - @ -:slayer:

UK keyboard again! I don't mind the US keyboard layout (used it loads of times when I've been over in the USA) but I would need a US keyboard to make more sense of it in the UK  :p
