Hello.

MOT in December - failed due to both front tyres severely worn on the insides.

put a set of part worn tyres on it. Passed.

Took it to Hyde road tyres, Manchester who "fixed" the tracking which was apparently 13mm out. £30 spent

Took it out of the garage and it pulled to the right like no ones business. had to have the steerign at 10 o clock just to go straight.

took it back. they swapped the two front wheels over. no effect.

took it back same day they put the lasers back on it...5mm out on the tracking...."fixed it"

felt OK for a while (i think) but i started checking tyres again the last couple of weeks and they have again started to wear in the same places.

recently noticed that the car seems to be pulling to the left.

last weekend took it to another garage....the say it was toeing out and have fixed the front wheel alignment..another £25 spent

No matter that road or motorway i am on i always have to drive the car with a very slight right hand turn. the FIAT logo on the steering is never true level. although i wouldnt say its as bad as keepign it as 1 o clock.

i thought i was the camber of the road at first so took it ona few car parks. again, have to keep a very right force on the wheel to keep it straight.

2 days ago: Phoned lookers fiat, stpockport explained the fault and said i want to book it in with them and want them to fix it once and for all money no object basically. they said "oh we cant do trackign here - you'll have to take it to a garage which can do a full four wheel alignment and be able to produce you a report. get them to fice the tracking problems as per the report, get new tyres on it get the report and brign it to us"

lookers fiat stockport will charge £60 just for me to brign the car to them for them to look at ..brilliant. plus technicians time and parts should the need be for them.

Has anyone got any idea what is wrong or help me. I can't affted to spend much more money on this wretched horrible little car.

Tie rod ends not bent? Usually when the steering wheel wont go straight even after tracking it indicates something being bent ?

The fiat badge being off-centre doesn't necessarily mean that the tracking is out - if the wheel wasn't straight when it was tracked, they may have adjusted both ends in the same direction so the wheel is off-centre.
If it's pulling to one side though something's wrong.

Has the car ever had a whack on a front corner, or hit any large potholes / kerbs? It sounds like either something is bent, or something like a suspension bush is loose/worn so that after the tracking is done, something moves putting it back out of alignment.
