What the hell is a service coupon, its just come up on the dash

It means you need a service Mate! There'll be a little spanner as well. Mine came up last week 'cos the guy who serviced it forgot to reset it. I took it back and he did it in 5 mins. See other thread re oil change and DPF which links to multiecescan software so you can reset yourself. 
As above, it's basically Fiats way for saying Service Due.
Can either service it (if due) and have it reset, or ignore it and it should disappear after 1000miles or so I believe.

At 17940 miles a message came up saying Service in 60 Miles. By the end of the day I'd hit 18000 miles and the Service Coupon Expired message displayed. As MEP says above, it will disappear but I think the spanner remains until reset. Incidentally, the guy who did my service at 15500 miles swears he reset it
Spanner should disappear after 1k also I believe.
