Hi All
Just looking for a little clarification here.
On our Panda Selecta (Beau) the light switch has two positions.
First 'click' turns on the side lights, PLUS the headlights at half brightness.
Second 'click' turns on the sidelights plus the headlights at full brightness.
Now, at first I thought this was a fault, but having dismantled the switch and cleaned it and sprayed with WD40 it's exactly the same.
However, this set me thinking, I am fairly sure that during the early - mid 1990's I had another Fiat (could have been my 127 or my first Uno) that the lights did exactly the same thing.
I seem to recall that it was to prevent the car being driven on sidelights alone, and could have been a piece of legislation introduced at that time.
Can anyone confirm or deny this please?
Beau is up for the MOT in April so if it is a fault I need to sort it!
Cheers!
