Got to love old cars, get one problem fixed and another appears!.

Gearbox mount now, it doesn't seem to be clamping up properly and allows the engine to rock, the exhaust then hits the cross member with a bang, so it sounds like a bag of nails.

Is the gearbox mount on a selecta the same as others or is it unique?.

Also the problem seems to be the threaded stud which is rotating in the rubber, so as I try and tight or slacken the nut the stud is just spinning instead. Should it be properly bonded in?

Not sure if this hasn't been tampered with actually because a local garage had a look when the exhaust came loose and they said the mount had come loose.

I don't know off the top of my head if it is the same, but I imagine it is at least similar to a manual, in which case if you look above the mount there is a slot in the cross member that allows you to get a spanner on the other end of the bolt. You can try tightening it up but I think its more likely the centre steel tube has broken away from the rubber and a replacement will be needed.

That makes sense, I can't get Eper to work on the right page, but all the photos and diagrams I have seen seem to show it as a bolt rather than a stud, so the nut must be accessible. I expect the slot is only visible from the front, I've been going in from the side and looking at it the wrong way.
Need to get it some ramps.

The mount 'looks' OK, fairly fresh looking rubber, it might have been replaced but not tightened properly.
