My sei sporting mk 2 seats are the silver and black ones! Im having real trouble cleaning them! Never had this prob b4 or on my cinq! Theyre really grubby so have tryed to clean them but it hjust leaves horrid water marks?? Any1 got a good technique??? Thanks guys!

dismantle the seats and put the covers in the washing machine. i do this to mine every couple of months and the seats come out perfectly clean

Thats a good idea, or have some leather ones made using the originals as a pattern?

....While we're on this, how do you dismantle them to get the covers off?

Got a leaky sunroof at the mo, and I'll need to wash my passenger seat once I've sorted the leak (may be easier to attack my head rests too ;))

Thats what i was wondering...
By the way iv got a sun roof for sale if you want. PM me!

it's the rubber seal that's at fault, already replaced my glass - but thanks for the offer

i dont believe in fabric cleaner and valeters etc. i truly think the best way to clean is to take all the parts off and wash seperately. i have got pictures on my computer of when i dismantled my seats. it took me about 15-20 mins a seat to take them apart.

any chance you could post the pics or if ya really have too much time on your hands do a step by step guide?

If you are using a wet and dry vac it can take a few goes before you can get them clean especially if they are really grubby, i can honestly say though after owning more cars than i can remember i have never had to stick any parts in the washing machine

.... but a dishwasher gets suspension and engine parts nice an clean;)
