seicento overfueling

anyone got any ideas as to why the sei is over fueling something simple may have missed ??

Maf sensor maybe needing attention?

What symptoms is it showing? Is it a high idle by any chance or is it just general overfueling all over?

probably both

its a bit erratic upon startup but6 runs just a very rich smell of fuel thats all and it wont pass emmision i dont think like that

but i have now replace as follows

lambda
cat convertor
spark plugs
filters
oil
brake discs and pads
front calipers
handbrake refurbishment inside and out
new head gaskets
new timing belt
new gearbox seal
new brake fluid
new tyres
new radiator fan
new fan switch
new heater matrix
umm probably some more but ive basicly rebuilt the damn thing now

engine temp sensor? if its reading wrong, it may be telling the ecu to throw in more fuel

If it hasnt been running for a while it could well just be the ecu relearning its parameters.

The cinq does something similar when its not ran for a few weeks.

I'd stick some redex in it and go for a blast, see if it helps :d if not at least u had fun

got some valve cleaner in it just now with it having the new valves just with no road tax on it at the moment makes it hard filling it up and getting it out for the blast

well new map sensor fitted to the seicento and seems to stop smelling like a shell garage when its running although still has a misfire so it looks like a set of leads and coil packs are on the cards next

Have you tried taking the leads off the plugs sytematicly to see if you can locate any issue?

one thing ive never played with is leads and coil packs so wouldnt know where to start on it

plus couldnt be assed
