Yes there is.. Budget?

Not really a few hundred quid price difference between different ECU's will be the least of your worries if you start a Turbo project with MPI. Also projects like Woj's created by reprogramming an OE ECU will be vastly superior to someone purchasing the best ECU money can buy with no idea how to set it up.

MF2's were rediculously expensive when new, (£500 IIRC). Really it comes down to what suits the individuals needs, skill level, who's going to set it up/install/tune it, requirements of use etc. Budget on the ECU is a small concern on a home build turbo project.

By far the cheapest and most sensible option is to buy a pre turboed Cento and make it your own.

Some of us just like to do it our own way. :D

Just had a read up on the turbo range on the modified monsters site and to run low boost it says run a 803 bosch injector on top oe bob ran by a Mf2 and use a fuel cut defender but surely the standard ecu can run the mpi and with a fuel cut defender would that run the turbo?

Now I'm getting somewhere. So to run mpi piggy back or a standalone! I've looked for a piggy and will this one do the job AEM FIC Fuel Ignition Controller Piggyback?
