Tuning Sei manifold question?

Hello, there are 2 different manifolds for a sei yes ? (mines spi) i have the mani cat and thus if i de cat i need a whole new manifold. But there is a standard manifold to the cat under the engine is there not? And would this fit ? As would be cheaper haha. And noticing the sensor plugs are differently layed out and i believe one has 2 sensors instead of one. Mainly doing this as i want a good rally rasp

If you have the mani cat one and the SPI, someone screwed up big style!

But, yep, the 1108 manis will fit all 1108s. You may just about (by the skin of your teeth) pass MOTs and VOSA spot checks by using an SPI mani, SPI cat, and getting another lambda boss welded on after the CAT.

Is it worth it? For the noise, I don't think so.

Hmm truee.... But yeah its only spi and i have a mani cat :/ but i got a stainless on at the mo and i only get a slight baurble at tick over mostly due to it blowing from front after clutch change... Think i broke something or moved a joint

If you are after a "rasp" you'll probably need to remove the cat completely...

Thats what i eas meaning having the plain mani to the bottom then strait into my back box ?

But would removing the 2 sensors(i believe mine has) cause it to run lumpy or would it cause any lights to appear ?

If yours is SPI it can't have 2 sensors wired in.

Just revert to the SPI type manifold. It'll run with just one sensor in. Removing the CAT will lead you liable to roadside VOSA pulls and probably invalidate your insurance, so, man up and run an SPI CAT.

I'm pretty sure (looking at your previous posts) you've got an SX 1108cc, which would make it MPI as the early SX's were 899cc's.
