Sei DIN Slot

Hello!

Just wondering... if anyone knows if you can use the air vent above the centre console control bit as a DIN slot for a head unit. or whats mods are needed to make it a DIN slot.. cuz i plan to get the unit in my sig this week or next... and i don't really want it down near the gearstick!

I had a look but it looks like it lacks depth...

it is a lack off depth, the vent is in the way, but im sure a bit off bodging will be able to make it fit, i was thinking bout the same idea, having a tv headunit in there, great minds think alike lol

it'd need a lot of bodging... it lacks a good few inches.
looks like that idea is out... i'll still try though

also how far does the rev counter sink into the dash

how about putting it in the glove bin bit

i've taken my rev counter out and replaced it and mounted it on speedo.
but even standard isn't a problem.. just need to shift the wires out the way, but it works.
head unit has to be centered so i can see the screen for sat nav.

im really liking that bit off kit, shame i aint got the money to get one

nope, just tilts up and down.
tis nice kit... yours for £1500.
my mate in punto might also get one... or the Alpine system which is £1900.

have you seen the Doblo stereo's which are on top of the dash, cos' the enclosure comes off seperate from the dash and seeing as you no longer have the rev gauge in the middle, you might be able to re-profile it to go on the seicento dash...?
