General Security after attempted break in (see pics)

Hi Guys

well my aftermarket gemini van alarm earned its worth 3 days ago when it went off, saw a white van drive off, then found this damage under back door handle.
Does anyone know if there is any extra form of security that can go around these handles to stop this as they did manage to pop the door open.

Hi was the van deadlocked.

If you mean deadlocked as in pushing the remote fob lock twice then yes.

I am so innocent I thought deadlocking prevented anyone from popping the lock.

I've got these Pro-plates on my Locksmith van, there are better than the small ebay items. I've also got Euro style deadlocks fitted.
You could also fit slam plates.
