Technical Seatbelt Pretensioner Resistance

Hi,

Anyone had any experience of an airbag fault caused by seatbelt pretensioner resistance being too high? I have just fitted a new airbag ECU which cured the original grounding fault but I now apparently have too high resistance on both passenger and drivers side pretensioners. I am going to test the resistance on both (I understand it should be between 2 and 3 ohms??) but I cant imagine what the issue might be? Wasnt there with my old ECU??

OK - just for information of anyone who comes across this post, I disconnected and reconnected the terminal to the airbag ECU a couple of times and hey presto! the faults disappeared. So I guess just a poor connection on the prongs of the terminal.

All sorted now... Happy Days!

... and yes, 1.7 ohms was the resistance on both my seats.
