Technical seat swap

Hi folks just want to know if i swap the double passanger seat in my p reg ducato mwb van can i fit a drivers seat to the passenger side.? Will i be able to move the bracket for the seat belt etc?
Also is there any other seats that i could install from a car maybe? just the seats aren't the comfy.

Hi,

All the motorhomes based on the Ducato have twin single seats rather than the double passenger seat (to facilitate getting into the rear) so the fixing holes for a single seat should be there

The two seats in my R reg van are identical and are fitted to a seat box which is bolted to the floor, so if your drivers seat is like this you should be able to fit a similar one to your passenger side. the seat belt bracket is fitted to the seat rather than the box but provided the fixing is solid enough it won't matter where you attach this .

i fitted two singles tomy van which i got from a big peuget from a scrap yard very comfy compaired to the old ones i just looked around the scrap yard and picked the best and most comfy looking the hardest part was getting them out they had them star bolts onthem
