Hi folks .. new to forum.
Joined mainly to find out if my issue with drivers side seat belt is a one off as fiat wigan tell me or is it a problem on stilo's in general.
My 04 stilo with less than 20k on the clock, failed its mot because of a little rip near the base where it joins the seat. Fiat Wigan tell me this is the first time they have seen this problem. They also charged me £270 for doing the job as they have not yet released the patent.
I have later found a scrap yard in Golborne where the owner tells me that is rubbish they had had to sell a few seat belts for the same reason. They also tell me fiat could of solved the problem by putting a simple plastic gaurd around the belt to stop it rubbing, which they haven't done on the new belt either.
Just curious if anyone else has had this problem.
Are fiat just feeding me the smelly stuff from the farm?
