some ppl seem to take the actual wing off to replace the tank, but if you've got small hands and an array of tools you don't, unless its a GT (they have HUGE tanks).
unless the car has been in an accident or you've driven over a manhole where the plate hasn't been on it atall the tank won't be broken (almost sure).
more likely a pipe line is split or perished (i've seen hoses perish on cars less than 2yrs old, LOOKING AT YOU MERCEDES!!!!).
in a mk1 punto I believe its either 1.5 or 2.5litres (2.5 more likely) to the brim.
and if you buy your screen wash by th litre like me (B*Q 1litre = 97p, or 84 at trade no vat) then it takes 1/6 of a litre bottle of wash, and the rest is water

I've got to use the concentrated stuff the super pink stuff almost fully concentrated, 1:1 minimun this winter. Although been -6oC quite a bit overnight.
If you do have to change the bottle...just jack up and put in stands....take off the passenger side wheel...remove the arch liner and the bottle is held on by a nut on the wing and a bolt in the inner wing....piece of piddle...on a Mark 1 that is
