tbh probably not, it just come to mind as an easy way to get rid lol. al be honest, it needs work in one way or another so wouldn't be keen on selling to someone i know. lol broke that rule once, never again! it's taxed till end of month, apart fae needing a service it should pass an mot no bother. Got an incredibly busy fortnight coming up then it'll be top priority to get shot

Depends on how old but basic polos are good cars to learn in. Having had a shot of a mate's 57 reg one however I'd avoid newer ones big time as they are plasticy and soul-less.

Much as I love the GP I still have a fondness for my first polo - lightweight, cornered badly so always a challenge, quick off the mark (but shite at anything above 70) and everyone else regarded it as a granny car so I was a minority which is always good :D . Also it was worth nothing so I never worried when throwing it round corners

it's a 97R 6n 1.4L, yes soul-less. My first car was a 84B 1.3 polo squareback or puddle jumper as it was known. Was a good car, better than the 6n imo would rather have a older G40 if possible.

I had a 83 1.1 and it was great fun - wish I'd been able to keep it for nostalgia alone. Also had a 95 1.4 which was ok but never as much fun however it did move me from Newcastle and back in a one-er which is worthy of mention alone

well. id be more than happy to come and take a luck when you do decide to get rid for final. and i understand not wanting to sell to people you know. and ive been abit harsh in the past i understand that.

basicly ive only been thinking of getting shot of the stilo so i can afford a second car for the mrs..... but if this is a option then tbh condition doesnt matter aslong as the price reflects. but again, decisions obviously yours. but please keep me in mind when the time comes!
