Scraping from passenger side

Hi guys. I bought my 56 plate Grande Punto a few months ago and since i've had it, whenever i brake lightly i get a slight scraping and squeaking.

The first thing i checked were the pads but they were fine (loads left on them). I find this strange becuase the car only had 3k miles on it, recently when it was icy i was coming out of a junction and slid into a curb, I didn't hit it that hard and didn't notice any damage but now when i turn right (near enough full lock), i get a loud scraping noise.

Any ideas?

could be a lot of things is there any sign of catching on the inner arch?

could also be the heat shield on the back of the disc

the squeeking is common on GPs check the stickies known faults section in the Grande punto sub forum
