Yeaterday my friend and I travelled up to Craigtoun Country Park just outside St. Andrews to attend the Scottish Italian Car Day 2008 in what only can be described as stunning weather. This was my first time attending such an event and i must say i was very impressed with the organisation and the numbers of attendees.
A wide variety of cars were on show ranging from the new Fiat 500 to classics such as the Lance Delta.
So lets get on with the pictures!
My car - Fiat Panda 100HP
The proud owner (note how big I look compaired to the car lol)
Alfa Romeo
Lancia
Fiat
Ferrari
Lamborghini
Maserati
Non-club cars lined up
After the event we headed down the coast to Ansturther for some fish & chips. Anstuther was hoasting the end of the 'Thistle Run 2008' which is an event held for MINI owners so to say it was busy is an understatement. It was here that i bumped into another 100HP and its owner which is only the second one that i have seen on the road since purchasing the car and the end of November 2007. This gave me the chance to get a few quick pictures together.
Heading home we stopped off at Queenferry for a quick photoshoot. I have seen pictures taken here before so i though i would try it out myself and I have to say it is a stunning location. The Fourth Rail Bridge provides the perfect back-drop for the pictures.
My favourite picture of the day.
I would like to thank the Alfa Romeo Owners Club (Scottish Section) for hosting a great event, a big thumbs up to you guys!
So to sum it up then, my friend and I had a great day and i will definitly be attening the show next year.
I hope you all enjoy the pictures
