Robin its a shame i live up in the north west, i`m about to get a set of alloys for the mondy and they need a refurb, they could do with a sand blast first before i do the rest

rob, i know someone who can do it £10 a wheel. acid dip and sand blast.

Its a 1.4 Chassis, 1.6 Engine and 2.0ltr Brakes and half a Marea

a friend, company called PX Wheels. do a google search. my mate works for them and he said they do it. and £5 a wheel to have the kerb marks welded up.

its in blackpool though

I had a go at some sandblasting once, came out ok but i made a massive mess doing it as didnt really have a proper area or blasting cabinet. was very tempted to DIY a cabinet.

good luck though, its a brilliant way of cleaning stuff up!

You have def gotta get a propa cabinet, we are now looking into a acid dip and strip tank,for future things.

I was doign it because a friend and I were lookign at chrome plating kits etc.


he still does it and powder coating and starting to make some money now i think. he's given up his job to do it and sell other stuff!
