Been doing lots of work on the multi. Today I noticed there is a bracket that sits under the fuse box (JTD). I couldn't quite work out what the thing was on the bracket. But in retrospect it was possibly the alarm. Mine has completely corroded away. I think water gets thrown up through the vents in the wheel arch. I've attached a picture of it and me holding a chunk of rusty steel that dropped off when I poked it. Looks like it came out of a shipwreck. People may just want to spray some oil around theirs next time the bonnet is up
