Hiya Folks.

Recently discovered the arms(towers) to which the lower bumper bolt to on my 1.2 80sx are seriously corroded to the point of disintigration.

Does anybody know whether these are integral or can be unbolted and swapped.

Thanks

Assuming you mean this part:
Yes, you can unbolt them.

Mine is rusted away from the bottom, but some 5cm up and it is all solid. I have not bothered to fix those as the bumper is rigid enough.

Much appreciated Neverth.
Any idea if you can order it new and if so what the part number is?
Thanks again.

Welcome to the forum.

You can order them from fiat yes. Heres a quote of another post should cover everything you asked

Hey, its not a massive issue. That part is just bolt on it holds the front bumper and things like the air filter box, windscreenwasher resivour, header tank, the wheel arch liners.

Most places seem to call them Front Wing Support Panel. I was given a price from fiat for around £57 each.

I would do both sides if you bother and paint the new ones before you fit them just to make them last longer. I have a Fiat original and a Hadrian Brand pattern part to fit myself. The Fiat one is heavier and thicker metal, I intended to powdercoat them black before fitting and really im looking for the other original before bothering.

heres the link to ePer

Two part numbers for all 1995-2001 Bravo's and Bravas
Right: 7772718
Left: 7772719

Thanks for the reply Adrian.
Its a great help and much apprecaited.
Quite funny how I rememeber looking at your motor on the forum years back.
Very tidy motor, you've got the same route as I have with mine.
She's only a 80sx in enamel red, but ive bonded the standard spoiler on, fitted the marea headlights and just about to put some 16" fit coupe turbo alloys on that i've had refurbed.
Hopefully get some pics up once i've got the alloys on and give her a good detailing.
Only niggle with her is a few paint chip spots from some heathen whos ripped the badges off.
would yoou recommend any paint touch up products or just be dignified and leave her?

All the best and thanks again.

Hi mate

had the same problem with my Bravo, just look in the Breakers yards for Alfa Romeos 147/156/155 as they have the same parts and for some reason don't rust like they do on the Bravo/a and Mareas and they dirt cheap inn the Breakers (y)
