hi just recently after inspecting carsh damage on my uno not caused my insane driving i must add it was sombody elses fault but thats a nother story
any way on inspecting the car i found the start of some rust coming from the inside of the rear wheel arches i have seen other unos with more progresive rust around this area and realy dont want mine to go this way
very soon i will be having one side of the car resprayed due to the fore mentioned damage and might have these areas sprayed too
all i whould like to know is if anyone else has found a good way to stop the rust here after it has been repaired as repaired bodywork will never last as long as original facory work
i was looking at the front arches and noticed the plastic wheel liner covers most of the paint and protects it from stone chips from the wheels i cant fink why the same method wasn't used on th rear ones
i have been finking of puting that plastic stuff on them that slides over the sharp edge of the arch inside out of view like rover 600 s have after painting of course
any beter ideas whould be much apresiated
