just got my well looked after fiat coupe 20 v turbo back from the garage a couple of weaks ago after a full service, timing belt + tensioners with water pump, all auxillary belts air con belt and tensioners, the car also had quite a few annoying rattles and squeaks, knocks from well all over, they have attended to all of my reported faults, and a few more that they had pointed out to myself which i had not noticed, after carrying out the service and belts and other little jobs, which allowing for ordering extra suspension link rods which were causing the knocks,only took 3 days, where as dealers were quoting a weak just to do the belts and service, the car was fully washed inside and out, clean paper mats then refitted for my use, upon collection i was asked to test drive the car before payment was made to ensure i was sattisfied, now to my surprise they did not come with me on the test drive which really allowed me to lift the bonnet and have a good poke around (or cleer off without paying good job i am honest) whilst looking around i noticed some old vacuum hoses had been replaced, loose wiring looms had been correctly resecured, new clips fitted to pipe work etc,i was pleased to see they had really done a great job and appeared to have taken pride and care in there work, so off i went back to the gargae to settle up the bill and inspect the parts they had replaced, whilst chatting to them about various faults and problems i have had in the past, they new the answers to my questions and i got the impression that they could of found a lot of my previous faults a lot quicker than some of the dealers had in earlier days especiallialy when they new about one of the fuel pump wires that can burn out on some of the coupes near the fuse box, which took my local dealer two weaks to find,
