Hi Folks,

Drove home today for first time in my new ( well used ! ) car, no problems at all on the way home and the engine sounded ok.

However, when I was turning into my street which is a pretty sharp right turn there was a noticible feeling of something " rubbing ".

Normal turns on the way home didnt cause any problems just when doing an turn requiring a full lock or partial full lock.

Any idea what it could be or have u ever heard of it !!!

Hope its nothing to serious :(

Many thanks again,

Paddy

you got alloys ( aftermarket? ) what size wheel and tyre profile you got?

Hi there thanks for reply,

Yes there are alloys, but from what I can gather they are the ones that were on the car from new, as looking through the paperwork with the car, the very first invoice has " alloy wheels " as an option which was added.

I dont know the size though, I will try and find out in the morning though if you think its a possible cause.

Thanks for your reply,

Paddy

hey... i bet its the silly fan bits of plasticthat go in the front part of the wheel liner.... stops the **** getting in the front bumper!

Just undo the 3 screw that hold them in place.... remove them and see if that stops the rubbing :)

might even be a slight catch on the bottom inside edge of the front bumper too.. so just trim it a little :)

let us know if that fixes it :) :)
