Technical rubber gromit in bulkhead for wires?

beau, on the red one, on the passenger side there is a hole in there big enough for a decent gauge of wire, i found it easier to work from the inside, put a bright light in the engine bay under the ecu, you'll see it shine through into the passenger footwell, maybe around where the carpet ends, i'll get a photo of the spot tmrw afternoon

ok thanks i will try tomorrow if i can be bothered, its so cold outside atm :(

There is also a blanking plate on the driver's side bulkhead where the brake servo would normally go (on non turbo models, yours will be on the passenger side). You can drill a hole in it and then fit a grommet to put wires in, though its location near the turbo might be a bit too hot for electrical wires!

There is also an oval grommet on the drivers side bulkhead, quite high up and to the left, though I'm not sure if this is used for additional wiring on turbo models. On non turbo models it isn't used and can give good access to the dashboard area behind the pedal box.
