Hi, Have bought a 2003 Ulysse that has had the RT3 removed and replaced with an ordinary radio/cd. Have now sourced a 2nd hand RT3 now need to get it coded or whatever. I called my local main dealer and got hUh, What, bring it over and we will see what you are talking about etc, don't fancy giving them €80 per hour to play with something they havn't come across before. I have spoken to a local Russian guy who is very good but he is not sure what is the procedure or what he needs, can somebody clarify exactly what has to be done and what he needs to do it. Thanks,
Tony

My understanding is that the RT3 unit has to be identified to the main ECU unit for it to work correctly.
It's not a common thing to have the RT3 removed and a secondahnd unit fitetd so there won't be many able to offer advice.

:( I had a 2nd hand unit i purchased from ebay (just cd/head unit) gave the guy my chassis num and it was precoded to my ulysse mk2 so it just plugged in and worked a1 well impressed try to find some detail and email 4 you.

:) Hi the guys ebay user name is ajondyh (sorry cant find his email) but he might be able to sort out your problem or point you in the right direction.

Hi Jarred,
Was it an RT3 unit you got? I know the radio/cd unit can be programmed without being fitted but I think the RT3 is different, I am also asking this on the EV2 site. thanks,
Tony

Hi It was a cd/radio unit not rt3 unit Just had to plug it in and it all worked.
