Technical rpm problems

hi all, gotta problem with my rev counter goes down quite slowly and sometimes back up and then down again, been reading this forum sounds like the tdc, if so can anyone tell this idiot where it is on a 115 16v many thanks:bang:

hiall, this is mainly aimed at jug, found a hole in pipe between air intake and manifold caused by battery lead rubbing, live in an area with lots of speed bumps have sorted that fingers crossed it will be ok
