"Saved: Chinese bail out Rover for £1bn" Its a shame as Britain no longer has its own volume car manufacturer anymore with the chinese owning 70% and mg rover 30%, there will be 2 seperate British and Chinese companies to manufacture new models, which lets be onest mgrover do need and the money will help develop these new models. I admire the effort put into Rover by the current bosses although their pension scheme and pay seemed rather dubious for a company in so much trouble.

Yup certainly is! Jus sad to see what was the BEST car industry at one point go down the drain due to bad decisions and crap workmanship.

Its not as if they make bad cars just slightly outdated ones, i mean the 25 was based on the old honda civic now thats over 10yrs ago, although mg did a good job sprucing the range up, would definatly have a ZR or ZS if i had the money, the go round corners like their on rails!

Yeh but the newest mg zr Im not keen on...

The folk who drive them are a bit full of themselves too...BMW engines, you know Oh and them alloys are unique for every single car too! :lol:

If anything i think they were developed with Honda money, so will be closer to VTEC
