Greetings. I have a 1983 Ducato camper with a Peugeot XN1T motor.

My problem is that I need a rope crank shaft seal that goes between the clutch and the motor to stop an oil leak. The mechanic can't find one anywhere and neither can I after scouring the internet. The car and I are presently in Cracow, Poland and might never leave unless this part can be found. The mechanic says it has to be the exact part for this car.
The mechanic thinks that the motor was changed previous to my ownership and perhaps this was not an original part. Many places I've contacted do not know of this part for this motor, however, the mechanic insists this is what is needed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
