just bought a brava 16v LX noticed it revs up to 200 revs on clock when idle after a spin on some occasions ,also over revs in traffic jams, whats the cause?

I had the same problem - your idle valve is probably knackered. From the invoice I got - (I guess it is what they call the 'electro valve') costs £108 plus £72 labour, so quite expensive. Hope ur car is under warranty like mine was!
