Technical Reverse lights

Hi all,

I have a 2013 Fiat Doblo and have just installed an aftermarket reverse camera. I looped the camera power into the reverse lights so it would turn on when the van was put into reverse.
The camera and lights were working fine for over a day but both have now stopped working completely.
Any idea what would cause this or what should be the first thing to look at?

I've just fitted one to my Doblo too Dan, though mine is still working ok.
Mine was an Android radio/satnav/reverse camera head unit, so I also had to connect the positive feed on the reverse camera back to a signal wire on the head unit, to get it to automatically switch to the reverse view whenever the reverse lights come on.

I guess as yours was working initally, and now the reverse light shave stopped working as well, the most likely cause is that the fuse to the reverse lights has blown. If it has, then maybe it was caused by an exposed positive connection in your new reverse camera wiring.
