Has anyone had their Bravo that has this paint resprayed? Does it blend well?

Some monkeys damaged my car delivering leaflets to my house, and it looks as though im paying for it, here is the damage:

it doesnt t-cut out

Chips away and the like dont want to touch it, they say their repair on this colour/paint will be noticable, and its a bodyshop job. Got some quotes and its coming in at about £300 to do this, which i think its bloody sky high considering one of them only quoted £120 to repair a scraped and dented door on my peugeot, where theres bare metal showing & damage to the metal and needs filling.

If anyone has had something simliar done on this paint how good are the results? and if its in the north west, where did you get it done?

Someone keyed ours outside the house last year. The scratch looked similar to that, but was longer. Both front and rear doors were done, so both needed a respray. I got it done and I must say it looks great, cant tell it has been done. Im in the NE though.

I remember the bloke who did it saying he had to take it to a bigger bodyshop with some sort of device to dry or bake? (IIRC?) as he didnt have the kit and this was needed due to the paint.

Think that these paint repair creams or repair pens will do the job since the damage as it seems is not too deep. I have done mine with a cream and there is no difference even if it was worse than yours. You should always consider of course the possibility of painting it in an oven, but you have nothing to lose if you try the 'easy ways' first.

PS: You cant just spray the car paint over the scratch cause it is water-soluble. It definitely needs oven or else it will wash up.

When mine got it's rear damaged in Germany I got it repaired by 'The Bodyshop' off Ross Road, Stockton-on-Tees. The repair isn't noticable and the paint is one of them advanced metalic paints... Didn't cost me the earth either.

If the scratch was deeper I'd be covering the area in nail varnish to seal the area - especially if it was through to the metal/undercoat.
