Are these any good? do they work at all? do they give any performance increase?
pros and cons?
Thanks

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the general idea, is that the chips trick the ECU into thinking the engine is taking more air in than it is, so it compensates by chucking loads more fuel in. The effect, you're now pumping way too much fuel into your engine, which will damage it after a while. Also I think the resistor chips are no more than resistor's you can buy from somewhere like Maplins for about 17p.

I know taht it is just a resistor, but will it give any performance gain? and will it actually cause any damage?

They are abolute pap, DO NOT fit one, it will make the car run overly rich, so much so that it is bad for then engine.

The claims they make are totally bogus.

When we buy components in at work, we buy those resistors for about 3.7p each.

There is no cheap way to get massive power gaims as these products claim.

No no no no no no nooooooo!

Avoid.
