Replacing Standard Ariel

Tried unscrewing my standard ariel on my Bravo, but it seems to be all joined together into the small black mount which holds it, so is there any way to do it, or do u have to remove the whole lot ?

Heh, im waiting for a reply to this as well...i got mine bent out of shape..no idea how-so thinking about taking it off and exchanging for another!

It should unscrew from the base like a lid from a bottle. If it has never been removed then it may just stiff. Try some pliers round it.

I removed mine and replaced it with a small one from a scrappy.

Like Stu said, but, be cerful, the base is some sort of easy breaking aloy so you may snap the base screw holders.

i snapped mine :S i thought it just screwed out but i was actually tearing it apart! it was pretty cold at the time so i guess thats what caused it. so in other words, be careful!
