General Replacement key (non remote) cost?

Hi,

Was wondering if anyone could help. I need a replacement second key (the non remote version) for a 2006 Grande Punto and am wondering how much it will cost? I've tried searching online but most quotes I've seen seem to be for the remote key which I don't need.

Also is this something that would need to be done by a dealer or can an auto locksmith do it?

Would really appreciate any advice.

120 quid. You need to get it from a dealer.

I'm sure one of the members who know the full ins and outs will explain it better, but it's something to do with a number on a database that only the dealer can get to program the key with...or something.

Thanks for the info. Was really hoping not to have to pay £120 though!
