Technical Replace the tailgate on MK2

HEY,
I need to replace the tailgate on my Punto MK2. 1,2 60hp.
I see there are two different styles from 2000-2003.
Will the other style tailgate from those same years fit mine?

i believe the 3 and 5 door boot lids are different too
I remember S and B Saying some time ago

mk2b 5door boots also have a hump - 3dr's dont

Double check my friend to be sure

My 3 door mk2 tailgate from early 2003 has no hump. But the tailgate I bought from the junkyard has a hump, though the junkman says he took it from a 3 door.

Try it - is all i can say
Worst thats gonna happen is it dont fit and you have to put the original one back on temporarily

Well its not worth trying it...if it doesn't fit.
Must be someone who knows if the tailgates with the hump is just for the 5 doors or not,
and if the 5 door Mk2 tailgates fit the 3 door Mk2 cars.
So far Im thinking it won't fit, so why bother taking my tailgate off until I find the right one.
Cant be that hard, can it?

Its got a hump / ledge
