Hi Joied a while ago, but never left a hi or anything. I love cars and I have a soft spot for Fiats after owning a wonderful fiat 124 spider whilst living in Bassa Brianza north of Milan on the lowlands of the ALPS. My sons Fiat STilo dinamic 1600 has a wonderful engine but the electronics drives him mad. He had loads of warning lights -- ie airbag, engine faults - poor fella was desperate, then one day his rear lights just died, no indicators, no fog lights just darkness.
I traced it down to burnt earthing pins on the rear lights. I when to a breakers got 2 rear light backplanes with no earth damage and cut off the connectors from the cabling loom both sides. I rebuilt the new cables and double earthed using house junctions blocks with some house hold solid core cable. Its now over 3 months, no dashboard messages and he is a very happy bunny burning up his mates Ford Fiesta Zetec. If you want to know more let me know.
