hi,
I am trying to remove one of the 3 15mm bolts that attaches the mount to the engine.
i have loosened 2 of the bolts, but there is one that is even difficult to see where it is located.
the problem is that every time i put pressure on the wrench the socket just pops off the bolt.
I spent 2 hours today and no joy,i tried wd 40 etc.
The top of the bolts are short anyway, but once i put pressure on,it just slides away off the bolt.the 15mm socket is in perfect condition.
So where do i go from here,
I do know you can buy a socket that grips into the head of a bolt as you put it under pressure.any help appreciated.

I have a 16V car. There are 6 bolts.

I wonder if you are not reaching sufficiently far into the holes and the handle is then forcing you off the bolt?

Some of my bolts need some creativity

1. Have the socket loose on the handle so it has slightly more reach

2. Use the part for working with angles

3. Use 3/8ths socket with the adaptor and the half inch handle

4. Use the piece with a hole in it as an extension.

One of my bolts is particularly difficult. When assembling the bolt has to go in before the mount is put in place. when removing the mount the socket has to go in the hole and then the adhoc extension pieces are put in loosely so i can separate them as the bolt comes out and I remove the extension and then continue removing the bolt.
