Technical removing steering wheel

right, i removed the airbag and theres this pretty big nut, seems to mesure in at 24mm, i dont have a socket big enough for it at the moment.

but somthing that makes me wonder is it seems to have metal around it which bends into the nut, hard to explain really but i'm sure anyone who's removed the wheel will know what i mean.

how do i get this off then? special tool or just a massive socket and some brute force?

nah just the big socket.the metal flanges can be bent out.just to prevent the nut turning

I already have a leather steering wheel thanks! Just wondered if they matched the wheel to your seats, or kept it dark to match the dash.
