I know this sounds silly, but i sprayed my door rub strips silver to go with my alloys a wjile back, i have recently changed my alloys and the rub strips didnt look good, so

i decided to take them off and not have any, after taking them off i see i my masking job wasnt the best and i have silver spray paint on the car, its not a massive amount but is there any trick to get them off?

Would white spirit and a clitch so it then wash off as soon as poss?

most cars are painted in 2 pack paint which is not (once set) effected by thinners.
rattle can paint is cellulose and so will come of easy with thinners. if its think and taking long try a bit of petrol on a cloth. petrol eats cellulose paint.

i would try it on a small area first but it should work. t cut will take you all day.
is it plasic or painted under the silver?

under ther spray on paint which i bought from halfords its my door which is painted, i bought some tcut today to try and remove other scratched which i didnt have time to star today but if your right about the mk2b 8v paint being double layer or what ever ill try the petrol idea. but ill try tcu first

If thats your car in the sig FFS dont use normal T-cut you want t-cut metallic (y)
