removing rear seats for a mot

i wonder if any of you can help as i dont no the law for mot's
i am thinking of removing my rear seats and seat belts in my fiat punto mk1
will it still pass a mot or not? as i see lots of cars around my area with no rear seats in.

You have to notify VOSA/DVLA of the change to the number of seats first.

once i have notified dvla of the changes it will be ok to pass a mot?
