Technical Removing door handles

Hi All,

Only found one thread on removing door handles so just wondering if anyone can offer any tips?

I plan to repaint my handles this weekend but what to try and do a better job than last time.

Any help is appreciated! Also, if i manage to do it, I will have to update the little 'painting door handles' guide as i've noticed there's very little on removing the buggas

I followed this today, i've been repainting my door handles today, but actually took them off first, and its a much better job

I actually referred to that guide today as I forgot how to paint them, i made the guide by the way haha.

How did you take the handles off mate?

Oh did you? Great guide, erm, I followed the guide on here removing door handles, removed door card, and behind door card there are 3 bolts holding the handle on, remove them, then remove the bar that is clipped in which helps open the door. The guide is fairly easy to follow

If the door handles are removed, will the car be unlocked until they are replaced?

Can somebody please help!

I have read the guides on removing door handles but I can only see two bolts on mine. After which it is not easy to remove, and I don't think it will.

Can someone tell me where the bolts are on the handle please?

I've got pictures if need be. The sooner the reply the better as my door card is off now, many thanks!!
