Removing air from cooling system?

Hi I just installed a preheater to my Fiat Brava 1,6L -98. And the water ran out (glykol in Swedish). And I have to fill more and the instructions said that I had to ventilate the system. Is there a ventilator somewhere?

Or do I just run the engine warm so the glykol goes in to the system from the ezpansion tank??

Excuse me for my english but all these technical terms arent that familiar to me :(

Normally I would run the engine on tick over with the expansion tank cap removed till the thermostat opens.
The pipe to the thermostat housing will go warm when the thermostat opens.

Also make sure your heater controls are set to hot air as this will allow water to circulate around the heater matrix. Do not leave the engine running to long after the thermostat opens with the cap off as the system will overheat as it's not under pressure.

Hope this helps

Paul
