removing a gear knob on a seicento

dear fiat people,
i'm a bit stuck. :bang: i'm in the process of trying to remove the gear knob from my seicento. there are two layers to it. a rubbery outer and a plastic core which i think is stuck to the gear shaft. any advice would be greatly appreciated. if you want to directly respond e-mail me @ [email protected],

if its like the cinq oyu need to cut it off.wait for a sei owner though

on mine i slipped a screwdriver up from underneth and battered it with a mallet. popped right off and could easily put it back on if ever needed. saves cutting it away

angle grinder...not recomennded, but certainly effective! and i have the added bonus of a shorter gearshift!!!
