Can anyone help with the following 'problem'. I bought my bravo from arnold clark about 18 months ago and when i went to pick it up they said they had lost the keys and i then had to wait another two weeks to get my car!!! anyway, its an 80 sx which i have come to believe came with remote hatch release which the new keys supplied to me didnt. is there any way that i can still get this remote release on a new key and if so, how much??? thanks in advance.

The remote hatch release is down the side of the drivers seat, not on the key.

Its a handle you have to yank on quite hard, where Tom says. Suprised no ones snapped one off yet!

Mine does not take much force, I've caught my foot on it a few times getting in and out.

Tends to be the case with us "Pizza-Inspired" individuals Tom. ;)

Right!!! lol. that explains it then. doesnt really seem like a remote to me though seeing as its conected to a mechanism. i think that something similar to my remote locking was what i was expecting.

It's remote inasmuch it is not on/near the hatch itself.

Mine does not require a yank. It only requires a light pull, and can be done with one finger quite easily.

If my memory serves me correctly, the Teapot DGT had central locking which included the rear hatch.
