I ve recently installed a DIYGTI alarm I bought off ebay. The alarm has been fitted with no problems, and I ve managed to link it to the indicators. The problem I m having is linking the new remote central locking to the existing central locking. I ve looked at the wiring diagram on the forum, and after trying to connect the wires I m still having problems.

The wires I have for the remote central locking are-
White- (Locking)
White/Black-(Unlock)
Yellow- (Earth)
Yellow/Black- (Earth)
Orange
Orange/Black

(The instruction have a pair of scissors next to orange, and orange/black, so i m assuming these aren't used in the circuit)

If anyone knows anything about this could they post back, as its driving me mad!!!
Thanks

this sounds very much like the system i have ... which Im half way through installing.
Have you seen my thread?
It might help. My car is a mk1 bravo. What car are you installing into?

Hi.....Just read your thread, sounds exactly the same problem I m having. I m installing into a MK2 Punto. I m just not sure what wires to wire to and where to find them! I m assuming that the wiring in your bravo and the ones in my punto is likely to be different (e.g colours and location of wires)!

hi mate, yeh i expect so.. try posting in the punto section, someone will help you im sure.
I'm installing mine under the door card, even though I was told the do it through the A frame -- but forgot, and all the wires are in the door card . I've started so i'll finish. :)
Good luck, let us know how you get on.
Laurie
