Grande Punto Red Sporting

Introduction

Bought a red sporting about 4 months ago and thought id post it up on here. Bought it standard and done a couple of mods:
new shiney bulbs :)
wind mirros, roof and spoiler wapped in gloss black
both door collums warpped in carbon fibre
remap to about 185 bhp
motec alloys
bonnet bra

and going to fit my new coilovers hopefully soon.
I like the gloss black roof and spoiler, plus the bonnet bra :) but im not a fan of the wheels but that's your decision :)!

Keep us updated!

bonnet bra's do more bad than good. All the road grit will get underneath it and sratch your bonnet badly. It will end up a right mess

i did here that tbh only if its a poor fit though. mines tight to the bonnet barely get a peice of paper under there, proberly depends where u get it from

i had exactly the same one on mine, destroyed the paint on the bonnet. But it was my fault as i left it on after i had driven in the rain (n)

was going to go for standard wheels refurbed in black but seems everyone got that done, fancied something different but should look better when lowered

I suppose its better to stand out slightly from the rest (y)!

took the bonnet bra off last night after people saying it could be possibly be damaging paint work and it was proberly the cleanest part of the car. ive even jet washed the car with it on and left it wet. i think its just a case of taking it of cleaning it maybe once a month to keep it from damaging the bonnet. no doubt ill look next month after saying this and the boonet will be pink

needs to be taken off atleast once a week, and after driving in the rain, and never jetwash it with the bra on :bang:

well obviously the increase in power is nice, lots more mid range for over taking etc. consumption is a lot better. On my way to work its about a 50miles round run, was at about 42mpg now at about 48/49mpg on average, my run is mostly dual carriage way. The best ive ever achieved is 67mpg on a long motorway journey doing about 55-60mph but was to boring to ever try it again.

Havent been on here for a while, few updates fly eye kit my lights not sure if im 100% on them but they will do for time being, lowered on coilovers, decatted, striaght through pipe and new tips and a badgeless grill.
