Rear window stuffed up!

Hey chaps,

My passengers rear window was haviong trouble going up the past few months but thought nothing of it, just had to give it a little push no and again.

anyway....

tried to put it up the other day and "gggggguuuurrrrrrrrrrr"
window stops but the motor keeps going and sounds like its grinding.

I managed to get the window up but i had to pull it by hand and now it will go down 1/4 way and grind, then wont go up.

I have my door panel off but everthing is behind the metal plate on the door.

any ideas on what to do?

hey mate,

not 100% sure how to fix it but sounds like what's happened to mine. its come away from the runners slightly.

when you try to put it up instead of pushing it straight up or pulling it up, try and pull the glass to one side slightly and you might find it feels like it sits back in the right place and goes up better.

maybe try refreshing the connections on the drivers side and passenger side window buttons as they're both connected. Also spray wd40 or long lasting lubricant down the inside of the window whilst the windows down, then open and close the window a few times and see if it makes a difference.
